3 Ladies

As a former scrapbooker turned self-taught rubber stamp artist with 13 years experience in card making, mixed media, altered art, and collage,  I design cards and Artist Trading Cards, create collages that can be turned into framed art, make hand made books, create jewelry from found objects, altered art, and mixed media art.  In addition to ink and paper, my art incorporates acrylic paints, acrylic inks, glazes, color mists, and Lumiere paint.  I create art for stamp companies, stamping related product companies, commissioned works of art, and for consignment sales. Having spent the last year being privately tutored by a professional calligrapher I now also combine calligraphy and rubber stamping. My rubber stamping has been featured in several stamping publications, both paper and electronic. I fell in love with rubber stamping the first time I inked my first stamp and never looked back.

My favorite product list is topped by rubber stamps, though there are several items that I must have to complete my list; ink, paper cutter, card stock, ruler, bone folder, and color pencils or chalk. With them, and the many other items I have added to my inventory over the years, I produce art that I look forward to sharing with you! I am especially excited to share this, my first project as a member of the FranticStamper Design Team!

• Old CD disc
• Sponge

How to:

• Cut black cardstock to the size of 5 1/2"X8 1/2", score it and fold in half.


• Cut Tenacious pattern paper to the size of 4"X5 1/2".


• Using an old disc, trace 1/2 of circle onto Charming pattern paper and cut with scissors.


• Cut a piece of black cardstock to the size of 4" X 1 1/4".


• Using Aleene's Glue adhere Tenacious pattern paper to black card.


• Adhere the Charming 1/2 circle to background paper and adhere small black card stock to circle and background pattern paper. Allow to dry.


• Using 3 Ladies stamp image, ink image with black ink, and stamp on ivory cardstock. Trim, and using the sponge distress the edges with black ink.


• Cut Blush pattern paper to the size of 2 1/2"X3 5/16".


• Cut black cardstock to the size of 2 9/16"X3 7/16".


• Using Aleene's Glue, adhere image to Blush paper, then adhere to black cardstock. Allow to dry.


• Using Aleene's Glue, adhere layered image to card. Allow to dry.


• Using The Ultimate Glue adhere the flower embellishment to card.
