Simple Creative Joy

Sometimes a simple card can really bring joy to the creative process. Hi Everyone, Erika here and today I’m sharing with you an easy project that is so versatile.

Materials

Instructions

  • Step 1- Cut white cardstock at 5 1/2” x 8 1/” score at 4 1/4”. Set aside

  • Step 2- Cut grey patterned paper 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”. Adhere 4” x 5 1/4” patterned paper to card front. Cut out large print patterned paper 4” x 5 1/4”. Adhere to card front.

  • Step 3- Cut out 2- 1 1/2” x 2 1/4”grey patterned paper and adhere 1 3/8” x 1 1/8” patterned papers on top of each. Adhere to card front.

  • Step 4- Cut 4 1/2” piece of ribbon and adhere to card front, wrapping around edges.

  • Step 5- Cut out 2 3/4” x 3 1/2” piece of green based patterned paper and adhere to card front.

  • Step 6- cut out 2 5/8” x 3 3/8” white cardstock piece. Stamp image onto cardstock using Black Memento ink.

  • Step 7- Apply distress inks to craft sheet. Pick up color with Niji Water brush and color image. You can also use a paint brush and mini misters for this as well.

  • Step 8- Apply Distress Stickles to hat and Glitz Stickles to bow.

  • Step 9- Apply Glossy Accents to glass. Let dry.

  • Step 10- Adhere stamped image to card front

  • Step 11- Finish card with pearls and Shimmerz for eye shadow.
