Paper sculpture sympathy card

by Joanne Wardle

Paper sculpture sympathy card

I love the look of paper sculpture. A much simplified version can be achieved by using white diecuts on a white card base. The trick to this is to use exactly the same card for the base and the die cuts.

The effect is very subtle and understated, and although it would be suitable for any occasion, it makes a perfect sympathy card.

Materials

    embossing stylus and foam pad
  • Paper and Cardstock
    • two white card blanks
  • Stamps
    • Melissa Frances Clear Stamp, Simply Said     ( MFR-CS-ME18   $11.99)
  • Inks and Embossing Powders
  • Embellishments
  • Tools
  • Adhesive of choice

Instructions

  • Die cut stalk and flowers from white card.

  • Attach stalk to front of card.

  • Shape flowers using embossing stylus and foam mat.

  • Attach to card.

  • Attach a single gem.

  • Finish with a stamped greeting in grey.
