Basil Seeds Card (Sharon Jeffs)

Basil Seeds Card
by Sharon Jeffs

To create my card I used a mixture of the Distress stains swiped over the surface of my card to create the background.

To make the lace ribbon I measured a strip of metallic card stock that was the length of my card and 2 1/2 inches wide.  I then used the deep edger border punch along either side.

Furry Friends (Jennifer Willis)

Furry Friends

Today I would like to share a card created with the image titled Clinique found in the FranticStamper line of cling mounted rubber stamps.

It was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored with Copic Ciao Markers (see the list below for colors).

To create the card, after coloring the image, mat it on a cream colored base and distress the edges with Rich Cocoa ink. Create an aqua colored card base and distress with Rich Cocoa ink. Tear, distress the edges and adhere a 2" strip of the house printed paper from the Basic Grey What's Up collection and attach the May Arts ribbon across the lower front of the card front. Adhere the matted image to the front of the card. On cream colored paper, stamp the Torn Print stamp several times, position the Fabulous Phlox dies on top of the stamped paper and run through the die cutter. Distress the edges of the flowers and attach to the card front.

Two Roses Card (Lis Whiting)

Two Roses Card
by Lis Whiting

I love the way this Vertical Rose stamp (from Fran's own line!) turned out.  It was such a beautiful stamp I didn't want to distract from it with too much other stuff. So, I started with an ivory card base, an embossed ivory mat and my roses stamp.  After stamping and coloring the rose image on white card-stock, I carefully cut away the white background within the stamp using an exacto knife, leaving the roses, leaves and border (don't you just love that border?).

I decided to add just a bit of bling at the bottom. It looks a bit like draping, don't you think?

This is a perfect card for any occasion!
