Birthday Present (Becky Carafa, guest designer)

Birthday Present
by Becky Carafa

As soon as I saw the Tied Strings die, I knew I would use it to make a present.
I started with a panel of patterned paper, and cut two Tied Strings.  I glued one horizontally on the patterned paper, leaving the center unglued so I could tuck the second string under it.  I cut the bow off the second string, lined it up under the first one, and glued it down.  The bow that was cut off got glued on to make the present bow, and a candy dot is the center of the bow.  I stamped two little sentiments on green flags and added them to the present.

  1. I love it! So simple yet lovely - great 'quick card' to make when you need one. Thank you!
