Hop Into Easter (Karen Letchworth)

Hop Into Easter
by Karen Letchworth

The Easter Release of Precision Dies at Frantic Stamper brought all of us SO many great options in the way of new die-cuts to help us to prepare for Easter.  I was able to use three of these fabulous new dies on this little project I created for Frantic Stamper.

First, I used the new Basket Weave Panel to make a cut from wool felt that I cut down, folded over, and turned into an "Easter Basker" of sorts.  I tucked some green tulle (grass) and painted/glittered chipboard garden pieces into the Basket Weave Panel basket.  Then, on top of the basket I added one (of three) Bunny Backs (two in white, and one in pink with alternating tails).  The die-cut set includes the bunny and his cute fluffy little tail.  I attached this entire scene, which I backed with green cardstock cut/fringed to look like grass.  I attached the entire design to a large glassine bag that I folded half-way back up and machine stitched to create a pocket.  Into the pocket, I tucked a large photo/journalling mat that I cut from pink cardstok; and to which I attached the sentiment EASTER.  This EASTER sentiment was cut using the new Block Easter Sentiment.

I added some sweet lace and darling sequin accents to my project as well.

All the dies from the February releases are just as adorable and will help you create something really special for Easter.  From little party favors, gift items, cards, scrapbook pages and more - you are sure to LOVE the way these sweet die-cuts will help your projects to really STAND OUT and be remembered.  They're just so sweet, and they all work so well together.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope this project will really inspire you to pick up some dies from the Frantic Stamper Precision Dies February Release and get started on something special to give your loved ones this Easter.  Happy crafting!

Trimming the Tree (Karen Letchworth, Guest Designer)

Here we are at the first 25th of the year! I know Christmas seems like yesterday, but we know that we all should be starting on making those special hand-made cards to send to friends and family! Here is a bit of inspiration for you from Karen.

Trimming the Tree
by Karen Letchworth

There's always "that one die" with every company.....you know "that one" I'm talking about.....that very special one that catches your eye immediately, and you can't stop thinking about it.  Yes, now you're getting the idea.  Well, for me....."that one special die" from Frantic Stamper was IMMEDIATELY the Frantic Stamper Original Precision Die called Large Blue Spruce.  From the moment I saw this amazing die, I knew in my mind what I wanted to do with it.  Right away, I was envisioning these sweet trees cut from vellum.  I was envisioning the vellum making the trees appear as though they are snow-covered.  I contemplated glittering them to also capture the feeling of snow; but instead, I layered the vellum trees, and then added some white sequins.  I even used a small piece of double-sided foam tape to raise up one of the trees.  Don't they look lovely?  I think next time, I'll sprinkle them with some glitter.  How pretty!

My card uses some sweet Crate Paper patterned papers and adorable chipboard pieces from their Bundled Up Collection, and the sentiment I chose is a dainty little Melissa Frances Rub-On.   I tried to keep it simple so that these lovely vellum die-cut trees would be the star of my card.

Here in this second, more close-up photo of the card, you can really see the wonderful textures of these gorgeous vellum trees.  The high quality of these precision dies always make a crisp clean cut right through the vellum with ease.  I've yet to find a paper or other medium that I can't use with these wonderful dies.  I just LOVE how these sweet vellum Large Blue Spruce Trees cut from vellum look on my card.  I was right to think of it as "that one die", wasn't I?  I absolutely love the sweet feel of a snow-capped forest I get from using this die with the vellum.  Here's a look at another card:

This last photo is a close-up of the second card.  I just wanted you to see how the card looks with different numbers of layers of the vellum trees.  Now, I've got myself thinking of using this die-cut to create gorgeous trees in green paper, in wool felt, in rustic paper, and so many other great textures and colors.  What an amazingly GORGEOUS die-cut.

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look at the two cards I've created using this fabulous die-cut.  I really encourage you to check out this sweet die for yourself.  You really would love it; along with several other lovely tree dies and other amazing shapes Frantic Stamper sells.  Use your imagination to use Frantic Stamper dies to help you create something wonderful today!

Merry Christmas (Karen Letchworth, Guest Designer)

This card is the last Christmas card on the 25th for this year. We hope you have enjoyed our cards through the year and will check in on the 25th of the months next year, too. Merry Christmas to all who celebrate the day. May your day be peaceful and spent with those you love.

Merry Christmas
by Karen Letchworth, Guest Designer

It's hard to believe that Christmas is just a few short months away.  It will be here in the blink of an eye; so I decided that I would get a head start on my Christmas cards, and Frantic Stamper made it easy and fun.  All the patterned papers I used were little bits of paper scraps in my Christmas paper bin.  I pieced them together, inked them, and then laid them on a base and machine stitched them in brown.  I added some baker's twine, half of a vintage cream doily, some lace, seam binding, and jute that I tied into my bow.  I also painted some jingle bells and sprinkled them with sugar glitter.  They were placed in the center of my bow using some jute.

For the sentiment, I used one of Frantic Stamper's' Precision Dies.  What better sentiment for a Christmas card than "MERRY CHRISTMAS"?  That says it all.  I used a shiny metallic gold paper to cut the Merry Christmas sentiment.  This lovely die cut is big enough to be noticed, but not so big that it takes over the entire card.  It's just the perfect size for adding a sentiment to a card, or a title to a scrapbook page.  I know that I will be using this one a lot as I create the rest of my Christmas cards.

Frantic Stamper has so many great Precision Dies, stamp sets, and SO much more.  Why not treat yourself today?  You know you need to get a jump start on those Christmas cards just like me.  This particular die is really a great choice for making Christmas cards that will be remembered and treasured for years to come.  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

Love the Moment (Karen Letchworth, Guest Designer)

Love the Moment
by Karen Letchworth

Having been around for 50 years, I've learned that it's important to "love the moment".  So many times, we get so caught up in the chaos of life that we forget to slow down and enjoy the small things along the way.  Learning to love the moment brings us joy in the details of life, and I encourage you all to do the same.  Life really is about all the little things.

I made this card using a mish-mash of old patterned papers.  Then, I added some tags, some ribbons and laces, and then.....the star of the card - THE FLOWERS.  They were die-cut from wool felt and vintage lace using one of Frantic Stamper's Precision Dies called Large Layering Posies.  These awesome die-cuts went through the wool felt (and even the vintage lace) like a knife through warm butter!  They cut out so easily, and I simply layered them into the beautiful flowers you see on my card.  Down at the bottom right of the vellum tag, I added two more small flowers.  Those are the centers of this die-cut.  You get two sizes (two dies) in this one lovely set, and that gives you options.  I added some sweet little pearl gem stickers to the centers of my die-cut flowers.

Isn't it amazing how much dimension you can get from just this one small die cut?  It really is fun to use Frantic Stampers Precision Dies to cut more than just paper.  The options are truly endless.  They will cut through burlap, canvas, material, ......and even wool felt and lace.  It sure made making this card fun and easy.  I encourage you to check out all of Frantic Stamper's AMAZING Precision Dies.  You will quickly be as in love with them as I am, and you'll really find yourself "loving the moment" when you craft with them!

LOVE (Karen Letchworth)

LOVE
by Karen Letchworth

I've been SO blessed to have this opportunity to Guest Designer for Frantic Stamper.  Using their sweet Precision Dies and products is such fun, and I've been able to create so many great projects.  The card I'm sharing today uses lots of great new Crate Paper products that you can find in the Frantic Stamper store.  The sentiment on the card (love) was created using the adorable Big Handwritten Love Die which I cut from white paper.

I simply layered the patterned papers and embellishments together, and then added this sweet sentiment.  Frantic Stamper has LOTS of great sentiment dies, as well as all sorts of shapes and fun designs to embellish all your projects.  I hope that my little card has inspired you, and that you will stop by Frantic Stamper today and treat yourself to a sweet new die-cut (or two).....LOL!   I'm sure you will LOVE them as much as I do!

You're welcome to stop by my blog, My Cup Runneth Over, to read more about this project.

Thanks for visiting us today.  We're SO grateful to have you join us and get some inspiration here on the Frantic Stamper Blog.

LOVE Is All You Need (Karen Letchworth, Guest Designer)

LOVE Is All You Need

by Karen Letchworth

It's such an honor to be designing for Frantic Stamper using their amazing Precision Cutting Dies.  You will quickly fall in love with the high-quality and ease of using these wonderful die-cuts.  I used some older patterned papers from my "stash" to create this card.  Once I had layered my papers and added my hand-punched borders, I inked and machine stitched my card together.

Next, I added some sweet little banners using the Stitched Fishtail Banners Die Set and added the sentiment (LOVE) using the sweet Big Handwritten Love Die.

The finishing touch was to add a length of vintage baker's twine around my card.  I really wanted to keep these sweet dies the focal point of my card, and by using Frantic Stamper's Precision Cutting Dies, making my card was so easy and fun.  I encourage you all to give them a try.  They really are awesome!
