Button Heart Card

by Erika Taylor

Button Heart Card

I love buttons. They can really add that little extra something to a project. For this card though, I decided to make the buttons the focal point.

    • 5/8” organza ribbon of choice
  • Tools
  • Adhesives

Instructions

  • Cut black cardstock 5 ½” x 8 ½”. Score with Scor-Pal at 4 ¼”. Set aside

  • Cut 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” patterned paper, adhere to card front.

  • Cut 4” x 5 ¼” striped paper. Add ribbon and trim to patterned paper. Adhere to card front

  • Spray chipboard heart with glimmer mist. Let dry. Adhere to card front. Adhere buttons to chipboard heart

  • 3 2x2 squares of white tulle. Layer together and tie in center with thread. Adhere to card front.

  • Finish card with glitter glue, liquid pearls and resin heart.

Using embellishments as focal points rather than accessories can really ramp up the wow factor. Try your hand at using buttons for a project spotlight. Thanks so much for stopping by today and sharing a little bit of the Button love.

Toodles!
Erika
