by Erika Taylor

Happy Card

With all of the white fluffy stuff outside, sometimes I just need that little bit of color to make me happy. Today I’m going to share a quick and easy card with you using chipboard, Glimmer Glam and buttons.

Materials

Instructions

  • Cut cardstock at 5 ½” x 8 ½” score at 4 ¼”.
    Set aside.

  • Cut cardstock at 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”and patterned paper at 4” x 5 ¼”.
    Layer and adhere together.

  • Cut ribbon and pom pom trim. Layer and glue to card front and wrap around back side.
    Adhere on back of cardstock.

  • Adhere buttons to middle of ribbon trim.

  • Paint stem of chipboard flower with Glimmer Glam. Dry with heat tool.
Adhere to card front using dimensional dots.

  • Adhere chipboard sentiment of choice to card front using dimensional dots.

  • Finish card with rhinestones.
Using bold pattern papers for backgrounds is a great way to add interest to a project. Try them for you backgrounds in tags, layouts and cards. It will be a quick way to create that “need right now” project. Thanks for stopping by today. Until next time.
