    • AC Cardstock - Denim     ( AMC-CSP-71073   $0.50), cut to 5 1/4" x 4"
    • AC Cardstock - Brown Sugar     ( AMC-CSP-71044   $0.50), cut to 5" x 3 3/4" and to 3" x 5"
    • Graphic 45, Domestic Goddess, Miss Manners     ( G45-P-0122   $0.99) cut to 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
  • Embellishments
    • Graphic 45, Domestic Goddess Tags     ( G45-DC-0130   $1.59)
      • Alternately, you can use a piece of the patterned card stock, trim and mat:
        • Cut a rectangle 2 1/2" x 3"
        • Cut ONE corner off
        • Place that cut off corner on top of another corner
        • Cut a second corner off the exact same size
        • Cut the other two corners in the same way
      • This way you have the exact same cut off corners and they match! Easy, huh?
    • Prima Got Flowers?, Studio 24-M     ( PRI-GF-512026   $6.99)
    • Glitter Mini Brads Brights     ( AMC-MGBR-bright   $2.99)
    • Smooch Illuminate     ( CLE-SM-illuminate   $4.99)

Instructions

  • Layer the denim cardstock piece to your base card.
  • Layer the brown sugar cardstock to the denim piece/card
  • Layer the patterned paper to your card.
  • Take your cut piece of pattern paper (with the corners cut off) and attach this to another piece of brown sugar cardstock.
  • Cut around the brown sugar cardstock so that about 1/8-1/16 inch is showing.
  • Take a small hole punch and punch two holes in the top left of this matted piece.
  • Place a brad through a flower and through the hole in the piece and attach. Do the same for the second flower.
  • Use mounting tape on the back of the piece and then attach to your card as shown above.
  • The picture doesn’t show it but I used ILLUMINATE (new from Smooch) and colored in the silverware on the attached piece. It gives it a nice silvery look.

The layout for this card is simple and easy BUT can be used for so many different occasions. If you switch up the paper and color scheme, you have birthdays, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas…. You can use this with anything! Enjoy!
