Autumn Splendor
by Lis WhitingHi everyone! Today I want to share a card using Frantic Stamper's new Die Release, the Mix 'n Match Leaf Windows. I started out with a rich brown card base (4 1/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches). I embossed some suede paper in rust using a leaf design. Then I layered gold glossy card stock and then the rust suede paper on top. I used specialty card stock (mocha ripple and red fireworks - both AMAZING) and die cut one set each of the three leaf windows. I made sure that each die was at least 1/2 inch from the next one because I planned to cut each out into a square. To cut out the leaf windows, I used a square punch. This helped me keep a consistent border size.
I added an olive green ribbon and then placed the mocha squares on it. I intertwined the three squares. Then I cut out the leaves from the red fireworks squares and layered them on top of the mocha leaves with foam tape. I added beige pearls to finish.
Thanks for stopping by!
Lis
