Lady Liberty Card Set (Rozy Smith)

"Lady Liberty Card Set"
by Rozy Smith

Using white cardstock make two panels 5 3/4" x 2 1/4".

Die-Cut Star Border with red, white & blue layers.

Attach the color of choice (red or blue) to the white panel, offset layer the white star border over the colored border for added depth.

Fill some stars in with the cut-outs from the Star Border.

Trim panels to fit a 5x7 card, then frame with red & blue glitter strips. Center panels and attach to card front.

Die-Cut the Statue of Liberty with silver foil & black glitter paper. Offset, layering black paper over silver paper, use pop-dots to adhere to center of card at the bottom.

Die-Cut "USA" emblem with matching papers. Adhere to top center of card. Wrap twine around the left side of the card and tie.

Embellish as desired. You know me, "more is more is better"!

Great 4th of July cards!  Rozy

Congrats (Jeni Allen)

Congrats
by Jeni Allen

Hello there!! Do you have any graduates in your life this school year? I have a perfect idea for a card for you to make!! I was so excited to see this awesome Star Border Die! Isn't is a good one!? I cut it a few times out of some colored cardstock, and attached them to my card front. Then I layered it onto some black cardstock and then to my card base.

I wanted a little something, but not too much, and I wanted to keep this a masculine card, so I pulled out my Congrats die, and cut it out of fun foam! It was a self adhesive sheet of foam, and it cut just fine, with a metal shim under my cutting plates. I LOVE the dimension that the foam brings to this card!! Here's a close up of the great dimension from the fun foam!
