Joy Globe (Jeni Allen)


Only 8 months left until Christmas! We hope you have gotten a good start on your holiday cards by playing along when we post our cards on the 25th of each month. And what better way to do that than using Frantic Stamper's very own Christmas and Holiday dies!

Today we share a card from Jeni Allen. We hope you will enjoy it!

I love snow globes!! When I got this globe out I knew I had to make a shaker of some sort!! I used the beautiful Snow Globe Triangle Tree dies and cut them from some beautiful green hues...I just love these colors!! I also cut the snow globe out a few times, one of them being on some adhesive foam so I could easily add the window sheet and sequins. I love the dimension that comes with foam tape....love it!! I pulled out my twine and made a big fluffy "pom-pom-like" bow to attach my sentiment. I used the awesome joy sentiment from the stamps that match the Triangle Trees.

I think this sentiment die, He Is Risen, is so pretty!! I love it and it is perfect for this time of year as Easter sneaks up on us!! I paired the detailed die with just a pretty floral paper and a few sequins...not wanting to take away from the beauty of the die! Simple and clean and it speaks "spring" to me!!

I always need birthday cards!! So, I took these great new dies to make a fun girly birthday for an upcoming date in the mailbox!! The gift was cut from the Gift and Bows die set. I think this little gift will see a lot of use in the coming days!! I used a bit of silver foiled paper for the little bow...my daughter insisted!!

The sentiment for this card came from the super fun Mixed Font Happy Birthday dies!! I love, love, love mixed fonts!! I think this set is perfect!! I used the silver foiled paper again, and then a coordinating pink.

Oh, how I love card panels!! I love the ease and convenience that they bring to card making!! And, with so much detail, they add texture and in this case--shine--without a lot of bulk! I pulled out one of my favorites for this card!! The Quatrefoil card panel is simply stunning!! I used some beautiful gold cardstock to cut this from and it is just awesome in real life!!

I attached the panel to my card base and then added some premade die cut flowers and a little stamped sentiment.

This is a layout I come back to over and over again--and with the help of awesome card panels, it is a super quick and easy one too!!

Hey there! I am so excite to be sharing this fun die with you! I received this awesome Flying Geese Quilt Square die! How fun is that!? I paired it up with some fun coordiating paper and now have a lovely quilted card!

I ran the die with white cardstock first, and used that white "frame" for the base of my quilt. I picked 4 papers that made my heart happy when put together and then ran each of them through my diecut machine with the quilt square die. I had oodles and oodles of little triangles and had a fun time putting my "puzzle" together!! I used a bit of Ranger Mono Multi to glue my triangles into place.  I mounted my card front to a square card base and then needed a sentiment!

Once I had my quilt just so, I grabbed my Congrats die and cut it from some dark gray cardstock. I also cut a strip of vellum to place the sentiment onto. I put a bit of Mono Multi adhesive under the word--so that is how I attached the vellum strip to the card!

My last step was to add a few silver confetti bits...and there you have it!

I started off my card by using a star stencil and some gold glitter paste!! Oh, yes, it is divine!!  It goes on just like embossing paste, and it glitters something divine! So, I let it dry--and it doesn't take too long to try either--yay!!

Then I used the USA Map die and cut this beautiful map of the US out. I love the precision you get from the Frantic Stamper dies--always!!  I simply added my front panel to my card base, then added the die cut with foam tape.

This card is going to live in my kitchen window this month. It's a great reminder to me of how thankful I am for the wonderful spot I live in!!!

Hello!! Jeni Here with a fun little number. I LOVE this awesome Lattice Flower Square Panel!! I have used it on several different projects, I just love the delicate backdrop it gives to any card!!!

I cut the die with bright turquoise cardstock and attached it to my card base. I added a little cupcake, some silver thread as a fun texture and some bright enamel dots. I think that this great Lattice Flower panel will be something that can work with a lot of different styles of projects!!

Ok, do you love this card panel like I do!?? It was love at first sight for me when I saw this Saharan Screen card panel (as it is with most dies!!)! Isn't it just lovely!? I love it so!! I ran the card panel through my big shot with 4 different papers, and had several lovely piles of pretty pieces on my desk! I used an awesome double sided adhesive on a panel that was the same size as the Sarahan Screen, so putting all these lovelies in place was a super easy thing to do!! I tell you, double sided adhesive sheets are the bomb!! After I had all the beautiful papers in place, I attached the front panel to my card base and then added a die cut thank you! It really was a fun and not hard at all process!!

I really love this USA Map die! I was thinking of a couple different sentiments I had that would make a fun little something to add to this fun die. I love shaker cards...so I had to figure out how to get this fun die in on the shaker action!! I used the negative space and added a transparency to the back. I cut some foam tape so that the whole country had an outline and would keep the shaker treats safe! I cut my scallop frame, then stamped my sentiment and piled my sequins right over the top of the sentiment. I then placed my window portion of the card over the top and it was easy to get it centered and just where I wanted, with out spilling all of my pretty sequins!! I mounted that onto a card base and there you have it!

When I first laid eyes on this awesome USA Map die, I fell in love!! I live far away from all of my family--we live all across the country!! I had this card in my head for a few weeks, and am happy that it is finally made with paper!! I kept this extremely CAS, I used foam adhesive to give some dimension. I simply added a couple of tiny gold hearts and stamped that sweet little "miss you." This card has already found it's way to the mailbox...yay for happy mail!!

I started the card by smooshing some distress inks onto my craft mat and then misting it with some water. I laid my watercolor paper into the ink and loved the result as it dried!! I stamped my greeting on the bottom of the panel. I cut my Hot Air Balloon from some double sided foam adhesive sheets, then again out of white cardstock. I took the release paper off the front of the balloon and added a transparency, then cut my transparency with scissors and attached the white cardstock to the front of the transparency. I turned the image over and added my glitter, just using a rolled up piece of paper to direct the glitter, so it didn't go everywhere! I VERY slowly pulled off the release paper from the back of the balloon and then took my water colored background and laid it on top of the balloon--so I didn't need to worry about spilling the glitter!

Hello there!! Do you have any graduates in your life this school year? I have a perfect idea for a card for you to make!! I was so excited to see this awesome Star Border Die! Isn't is a good one!? I cut it a few times out of some colored cardstock, and attached them to my card front. Then I layered it onto some black cardstock and then to my card base.

I wanted a little something, but not too much, and I wanted to keep this a masculine card, so I pulled out my Congrats die, and cut it out of fun foam! It was a self adhesive sheet of foam, and it cut just fine, with a metal shim under my cutting plates. I LOVE the dimension that the foam brings to this card!! Here's a close up of the great dimension from the fun foam!

Hey there!! I am happy to be sharing this fun birthday card with you all today!! I started out by using a scrap piece of cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot with the Triangle Card Panel die, and then used that piece of cardstock as a stencil. I got some ink and my ink blending tool and made sure to get all the triangle shaded with green ink. Then when I took the cardstock stencil off, I had this great green on green card front--love!!!

I cut out a turquoise Dragon Fly from the Dragon Fly pair die. I simply attached it to the card front.  Then I cut out my Happy Birthday Script die with white cardstock, while leaving the dies in the negative space so I could add my desired colors of ink w/o worrying about bending the die or ripping it at all. After I had used my blending tool and inks to get my desired shading, I adhered them to the card front. I put the card front onto a turquoise card, and then for the final touch added a nice thick coat of glossy accents! Once dry, the sentiment is super shiny and has some great dimension!!

Hey there Frantic Stampers!! My name is Jeni and I am thrilled to be a guest designer for Frantic Stamper! I have been super impressed with the dies--such high quality!! I am excited to share my first project with you!! I made a butterfly window card...

I used a circle die to cut a circle out of a piece of masking paper that covered my card front. Then I used distress inks and my mini ink blending tools to create my pretty circle rainbow.

I die cut the Monarch Butterfly out of the card front. After I cut it out of the card front, I cut another Monarch Butterfly out of black cardstock. I attached a window sheet to the back of the butterfly, and attached it to the back side of the card front. So, the black butterfly is inlaid into the card front. I used some glossy accents to fill in the butterfly, making a type of "stain glass" window effect.

I cut a circle out of the green cardbase, and then attached my white card front the to the base, lining up the circles. For the inside of the card, I die cut the butterfly again out of the green circle that had been cut out. I matched up the butterfly image that had been cut out of the green circle. So when you look at the inside of the card, all you see is a black butterfly--the back of this butterfly window. Because of the glossy accents, you can't see the adhesive that attached the window sheet to the cardstock, and it looks so great in real life!!!

Here is another closer look of the butterfly window opened--so you can see how pretty the glossy accents make the window!! I just may have to make something to hang in my kitchen window like this--I LOVE it!!



I finished off the front of the card with a black sentiment; I used the Happy Birthday Script die. I cut off the "birth" part of the word birthday, it trimmed super easily and helps you get more out of the die! I added a sprinkle of sequins, and there you have it!
