Hanging Hearts
The structure of this card came about by accident, when I messed up the white background that I had mounted the pink onto. I decided to cut down the card and was left with a square wondering what to do with it.Materials
- Paper and Cardstock
- 4.5 inch square white card x2
- Basic Grey Green at Heart, 6x6 pad, Dark pink ( BG-6x6-GREEN $5.99)
- Basic Grey Sugar Rush, 6x6 pad, Dark pink ( BG-6x6-RUSH $5.99)
- Stamps
- Sassafrass lass Stitched Borders 2 ( SAS-CS-50011 $12.99)
- Clear choice mini Royal Clear Stamp Mini I Love You ( ROY-CS-105 $1.99)
- Inks and Embossing Powders
- Ranger Archival Jet Black ink pad ( RAN-ARCP-jet $5.49)
- Embellishments
- 3/4“ organdy ribbon, Pink w/ black dots ( CR-ORG-DOT-PKBK $0.80/yard)
- 1.5” sheer velvet dot, Pink/black ( MA-QD-17 $0.79/yard)
- Tools
- acrylic block, such as ( SUN-AB-2.5x3.5 $3.50)
- Scissors, such as ( Fiskars NON-Stick 8" Scissors $15.990
- Adhesives
- Glue, such as Aleene's Acid Free Tacky glue ( ALE-glue-acidfree $4.99)
Instructions
- On a 3 inch square of pale pink paper stamp 3 of the stitched borders from the top and stamp the hearts so that they appear to be hanging.
- Distress edge of paper with scissor blade and then run edges along black ink pad.

Tie a knot in a piece of ribbon and glue to middle heart string.
Using some waste ribbon, attach between the light pink layer and a 4.5 inch square dark pink layer. - Stamp cross stitch border and I love you on dark pink card.

Back with white card.
Cut another piece of white card and a piece of pale pink paper the same size as the card front.
Crease these ¾ inch from edge and glue to the front.
Punch two holes and tie with wide spotty ribbon.
this is lovely .. I am a bit of a pink girl at heart really.. and this is nice shades.. not wishy washy..
