Joy Tag

Joy Tag

I so love those beautiful glass ornaments on the Christmas tree. The ones that are so delicate and have that vintage feel. Today I’m going to share with you a quick and easy tag with some great little ornaments.

Materials

Instructions

  • Ink front of 2 3/8” x 4 ¾” tag with mahogany ink and Bundled Sage Distress Inks using blending tool.
Blend each color into center of card.

  • Cut 2 ¼” x 4 5/8” patterned paper and trim two corners.
    Adhere to tag back.

  • Stamp holly image on 2 corners of tag using distress inks.

  • Cut 1 ¼” x 5” patterned paper and adhere to tag front on diagonal.
Cut edges to match edge of tag.

  • Stamp ornament stamps onto patterned paper.
    Cut out using scissors.

  • Apply Stickles to ornaments.
Once dry add twine to ornament tops and adhere to card using dimensional dots

  • Cut out Joy sentiment using basic shapes cartridge (comes with slice machine).
Adhere using dimensional dots, to front of tag

  • Punch hole through top of tag and finish with ribbons.

Stamping ornaments onto patterned paper is a great way to get that vintage glass ornament look. Add some stickles and have fun with tags to make them personal for your holiday gift giving.

Toodles
Erika
