A Year of Card Kit Advanced Projects

Advanced Card Kit Projects
by Kathy Berger

In 2019 Frantic Stamper introduced a year of Monthly Card Kits that included exclusive products and at least 7 projects with instructions. (Some are still available; visit this page to purchase.) Each month I created an advanced project with written instructions and videos of the projects being made. Now that the year has come to an end I would like to share my videos with you. Just click on the photo of the project you are interested in to be taken to the video on YouTube. Enjoy!

January's project is a push/pull card with a bonus slider with an envelope that holds a gift card. It slides up at the same time as the top slider of the push/pull card, but is in a layer of its own..

February's project is a birthday card with a 3-tiered cake cylindrical pop-up on the inside.

March's card is a 3-dimensional pop-up basket filled with Easter eggs.

April has three project videos to share. There is a trophy card to honer a #1 dad, a simple pop-up card for mom that a gift is attached to, and the gift itself (a macramé bracelet with paper beads).

May has a fun rolling bicycle project.

June has a sweet baby project for you with a little nursery complete with changing table and crib.

July features an interactive ocean scene in which, when a pull tab is pulled, the clouds move to the right while the ship moves to the left, and the lighthouse lights up. This uses inexpensive LED light, copper tape, and a watch battery that are NOT included in the kit, but which are easily sourced online.

August is a perfect time for some cool treats. Check out the push-pop that really pushes up like the real thing.

September is a great time to visit a farm. This project has a ton of dimension yet folds flat for mailing.

October's impossible card is a great way to share a recipe!

November is a time for making Christmas cards. this double-pocket card has a tag for a gift card and a cute candy cane ornament.

December has a fun pop-up winter card with snow and a snowman; it is easy to make, but sure doesn't look it!

I hope you will enjoy the projects and the videos. Happy New Year!
