Doggie Birthday Card

Materials

  • Paper and Cardstock
    • Basic Grey, Max & Whiskers - 6"x6" pad     ( BG-6x6-Max   $5.99)
    • Bazzill Basics Cardstock, Banana Bliss, Smoothies texture     ( BAZ-4-444   $0.59)
    • Bazzill Basics Cardstock, Ocean Breeze, Smoothies texture     ( BAZ-7-7121   $0.59)
    • White cardstock scraps for stamped image

Instructions

  • Fold a 6-1/4” x 7-1/4” piece of Ocean Breeze cardstock in half to create a “tall” card base.

  • Cut a 3-1/2”x 6” Banana Bliss CS panel


  • Cut a 3-1/4”x 5-3/4” Max and Whiskers DP panel

  • Die cut a large Oval Nestibilities panel from Banana Bliss Cardstock

  • Die cut the next smaller-sized Oval Nestibilities panel from Max and Whiskers DP

  • Stamp balloon image in Azurite chalk ink from the Birthday Celebrations stamp set. Cut image out.

  • Layer the above pieces onto the card base in the following order as shown in example:
    • Banana Bliss CS Panel

    • 3-1/4”x 5-3/4” Max and Whiskers DP panel

    • Using dimensional foam squares, Banana Bliss Large Oval panel
    • The next smaller-sized Oval Nestibilities panel from Max and Whiskers DP


  • Wrap ribbon around the lower 1/3 of the layered oval panels and tie a small bow.


  • Choose a character (the dog) from the Max and Whiskers Chipboard Sticker Shapes and a coordinating circle chipboard sticker.
    Remove protective covering from back of chipboard pieces to reveal adhesive. Apply chipboard pieces as shown to the oval panel.
