Set of Notelets
I love messing around with distress inks to make backgrounds. Here I made a set of notelets, and envelopes to fit them in. I love how this webbing ribbon creates an interesting mat for the main image, and the ribbon stamps just look so realistic.Materials
- Paper and Cardstock
- Squares of white card 1.5”x1.5”
- Stamps
- Rubberstamp Avenue, Twigs & Sprigs ( RS-CS-M026 $9.99)
- Stampendous, Ribbon Bow Borders ( STM-SSC-058 $14.99)
- Inks and Embossing Powders
- Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink ( RAN-ARCP-jet $5.49)
- Ranger Distress Ink Pad, Forest Moss ( RAN-DP-Forest $5.00)
- Embellishments
- 2” webbed weave, black MA-WQ-10 $0.89/yard)
- Tools
- Acrylic block
- NON-STICK Craft Sheet, small ( suz-crftsht-sm $8.99)
- Mini mister, filled with water ( RAN-misters $5.99/pkg of 3)
- Adhesives
- Silicone glue, or other dimensional glue

White card : 1 7x5 card blank cut to make 4 3.5x2.5 notelets
Instructions

To create background, smear distress ink onto craft sheet

Spritz with water
-
Spread with finger
-
Dab squares of paper onto ink,

Check for desired effect, repeat if necessary,and leave to dry

Cut notelets from 7x5 card blank as shown

Cut 2” pieces from webbing ribbon
-
Overstamp backgrounds with twigs and sprigs stamps. Stamp ribbon border onto notelet and mount image on webbing ribbon.

Create an envelope as shown, by folding paper around notelet and trimming to shape
-
Repeat for other 3 notelets

These are just beautiful - I have never seen that sort of webbing ribbon before - so will keep an eye open for it.
