Instructions
-
Cut a 4” x 11” piece from Basic Grey Marjolaine cardstock.
Score at 3.5” from one end, and 3” from other end. Fold.
-
Round the corners of the 3.5” end of the paper.
-
On the 3” end, center and punch a half circle using a 1” circle punch.
-
Secure this folded end with two small blue eyelets.
-
Stamp your choice of sentiment (“happy birdie to you”) on a scrap of white cardstock using Adirondack Denim ink.
Trim and layer sentiment onto a leftover piece of the Marjolaine paper and a scrap of blue cardstock.
-
From your scrap of white cardstock, cut out a “bird” using Tim Holtz Caged Bird Die.
Stipple the edges of the bird with the Denim ink.
-
Add cornflower pearls to the bird.
-
Cut a Bazzill Half the Edge Border piece to length.
Wrap with a knotted piece of Sheer Pinstripe ribbon.
Attach the bird to the back edge of the border piece.
Attach all to card front.
Adorn with a Prima flower.
I highlighted my flower with a Stardust Pen.
