Embossed Cards

Using glossy card-stock can give such very different effects.  I used a piece to make the background of my card.  I started by inking the card-stock with Distress inks then embossing with a Designables folder which embossed and cut out sections at the same time!

Once embossed, I added pearls to each of the star designs and added a few embellishments to finish my card.  I then attached my embossed piece using foam dots so that it sat slightly off the main base of my card.

I got so carried away creating this card that I also created this one ...
