Before you go, though, we wanted to share some inspiration from our design team using this die!



Jen was inspired to try something different with the Sun Rays Quilted Card Panel die, using it to draw interest to her focal point. She cut black cardstock using the die first, and then cut vellum with it again a second time. She centered the circle around her focal point house. The sentiment panel was made by using one of the pieces as a guide so that it would perfectly cut out the hello patterned paper sentiment.  That panel was popped up with foam tape.

Starting by framing the sentiment on both sides, she took the vellum pieces and placed them in every other ray.  Jen used clear glue around the stitched edges to adhere the pieces.  Because of the pattern under the vellum you can't see the adhesive at all.

For Ann's card she cut out the frame with glitter paper.  What a fun look that created!  She alternated three different colors of blue sun rays to create a wintry, monochromatic look for her card.  The Round Vignette Joy Insert was placed in the middle of the sun ray.  Isn't it wonderful how perfectly it fits in the center!  The card was accented with sparkly sequins and three of the snowflakes from the Snowflake Flurries die set.
