"So Thankful"
Oh my gosh, who can believe that it is September and Fall already! Fall colors, warm cider and quiet time crafting!
Creating your own backgrounds for your cards is so much fun. Using Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders, Sepia, Burnt Orange & Yellow Ochre and watercolor paper makes it so simple. Spritz your watercolor paper with water and then gently tap the powder onto the surface, rotate paper and let it blend. Using your pokey tool, streak the colors until you see the desired effect you are looking for, then emboss the card front with folder of choice. (This one is done with clocks.)
Layer your finished background with white, yellow, bronze foil & patterned Halloween Paper.
Die-cut Medium Bare Ash, Petite Maple Leaves and Thankful Die using colors you love to co-ordinate with the background.
Adhere your die-cut items to card front. Adhere orange ribbon down the left side of card and layer Petite Maple Leaves in the center of the bow.
Voila! A Fall beauty! If you love it, try mounting in a white shadow box to create a one of a kind home décor piece.
