I'm the lucky and proud godmother of 2 beautiful boys, named Théo and Alessio. When we tried to photograph the three of us together, it was a lot of fun, but every picture had at least one of us looking weird or hidden behind something... So I used two pictures here, the first one for the background with littlest and myself, and the second one, from which I only cut my eldest godson. There! I have the picture I wanted!! :)
Even if they are two boys, I still wanted a soft color combination for this layout, that's why I choose light pink on a blue background. I soooo loved using this pink paper from Basic Grey ( BG-LOP-3139)and all the stickers from My Mind's Eye ( Stella Rose )
Here's a little stopmotion video of the making of this layout :
Here's a colorful spring layout, all about boys !!! Isn't this picture funny, with my nephews upside-down and laughing ? This page needed to be playful and childish, that's why I decorated with the stars, banners and ticket.
When I buy multiple papers from a same line, I like using them all on a project... Here I just had to use the scraps of the Basic Grey « Life Of The Party » line, as well as the coordinated embellishments.
And a little video for the step-by-step :

I really love the stop-motion videos! So much fun watching the pages come to life
ReplyDeleteHmmm??? Not sure I like the StopMotion videos. It's either because there is no sound or the frames flash by too fast. I like to learn from what I watch. But I do love both of the layouts.
